AV-arkki is a non-profit artists’ association (NPO)

AV-arkki’s core operations as well as many of AV-arkki’s projects are generously funded by The Ministry of Education and Culture, Arts Council of Finland and City of Helsinki Cultural Office. International distribution of Finnish media art is also funded by  AVEK, The Promotion Centre for Audiovisual Culture.

AV-arkki has also received project grants and funding from many foundations and other sources during the past years, including: The Finnish Cultural Foundation, Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland, Alfred Kordelin Foundation, Frame and Art360, which is a Finnish project of fine arts aiming to improve the managerial skills and the business know-how of artists and other actors in the field of fine arts.
