AV-arkki’s office is in Helsinki, located at The Cable Factory (C-staircase, 4th floor). It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the Cable Factory (Ruoholahti area) from downtown Helsinki. You can also reach us by many busses (15, 20, 21, 65A, 65B etc. to Salmisaari bus stop), metro (end station Ruoholahti) and tram (line 8, end stop Salmisaari).
AV-arkki’s office and archive is open to visitors three days a week, Tuesday – Thursday from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM. Please call / email us before your arrival in order to book an appointment. Detailed contact information for staff is here.
AV-arkki’s archive contains over 1400 titles of Finnish media art. Member artists’ portfolios are also available for viewing at the office. Our selection of Finnish media art is comprehensive, interesting, up-to-date and of high quality. We are happy to assist you in any questions relating to Finnish media art.
